Pixar Unveils Incredibles 3 at D23 Expo
This year marks the 20th anniversary of The Incredibles, director Brad Bird's tribute to the Fantastic Four, James Bond, and more. Over the past two decades, only one sequel Incredibles 2 in 2018 has been released. However, during the D23 Expo, Pixar officially confirmed that Incredibles 3 is in development, with Bird returning as the director, just as he did for the first two films.
The announcement was made by Pixar's Pete Docter at the conclusion of the studio's presentation. While Docter didn't share any additional information, including a release date, the news was enthusiastically received by the audience.
During D23, Pixar also announced that Toy Story 5 is on the way, kicking off a night full of exciting Disney news. Marvel introduced a new trailer for Agatha All Along, while D23 attendees were treated to exclusive first looks at Daredevil: Born Again and Ironheart. The cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps shared a video message revealing the Human Torch's costume in the upcoming movie.
Star Wars fans were thrilled with sneak peeks of Skeleton Crew and The Mandalorian and Grogu. Meanwhile, Avatar 3received an official title, and Tron: Ares was highlighted as one of the final presentations on the first night of the event.
