Lego Fortnite's Latest Update Reintroduces a Beloved Animal to the Game

Lego Fortnite has been in a holding pattern since its Star Wars-focused Lego Pass concluded in July, but the popular mode is expanding significantly this week with the Lost Isles update, which drops on Tuesday alongside Fortnite patch 31.20. Lost Isles will introduce a massive new area to your Lego Fortnite world your island will remain the same, but you’ll now be able to travel to another island with five distinct biomes, all unlike anything on your current islands. These new areas are packed with items and weapons for you to discover. Additionally, a new Lego Pass featuring Marvel-themed Lego kit bundles with skins will be available, and all players will now have the option to build an airship for travel.

While Lego Fortnite doesn’t operate on seasons like battle royale and Festival modes, the Lost Isles update feels akin to a season launch in terms of the sheer volume of new content it adds. The explorable world for all players is doubling in size with the introduction of the Lost Isles area. This new area is separate from your existing map, but you can easily reach it by using a battle bus station. Once there, you’ll have five new environments to explore: the beach, jungle, plains, mountains, and floating islands high in the sky.



The latest Lego Pass includes island builds and a brand-new Peely skin. Unlike the previous Star Wars-themed Lego Pass, there are no collaborations tied to this one. The Lego Pass offers both free and paid tracks that progress simultaneously through quest completion. Upgrading to the Premium track for 1400 V-Bucks immediately unlocks the Island Adventure Peely skin. However, this pass is relatively short, ending on October 11.

Of course, there’s still plenty of Marvel content. This update introduces three new Lego build kits that feature iconic Marvel locations, such as the Daily Bugle, each bundled with Marvel skins. Three sets will soon be available in the item shop: Mary Jane Watson with the Daily Bugle for 2800 V-Bucks, Spider-Man Zero with Peter Parker's Queens apartment block for 2600, and the Weapon X Skin with Weapon X Labs decor for 2600. As always, owning skins from these bundles reduces the price—if you already have Mary Jane, the Daily Bugle will cost only 1300 V-Bucks.

One of the most exciting additions for longtime Fortnite players is the return of Klombo, the beloved large, four-legged lizard who first appeared in Chapter 3 Season 1. Usually a friendly creature, Klombo lets players ride on his back and rewards those who feed him berries—but his rage is legendary if provoked. It’s been over two-and-a-half years since Klombo's last appearance, making his return a nostalgic and exciting feature in this update.
