Big Changes Coming To Wizard World Of Harry Potter At Universal Studios Orlando
For over a decade, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios has brought in big tourist bucks for fans worldwide as they immerse themselves in magical landmarks like Diagon Alley and Hogwarts. The park eventually expanded to add Gringotts Bank as one of the attractions and in 2025, looking to add another destination: the Ministry of Magic.
Set in wizarding Paris from the Fantastic Beasts films and the British Ministry of Magic from the original Harry Potter film series, the upcoming Ministry of Magic will feature "the most ambitious, groundbreaking ride Universal has ever created."
Guests will first journey from a Muggle park in Paris into Place Cachée, the secret shopping district in wizarding Paris lined with Haussmannian buildings, shops, sidewalk cafés, and historic Parisian domes.
"Here, wizards and non-magiques alike will be enamored with the majestic grandeur and enchanting ambiance of the city as they cast dazzling spells throughout the magical streets using interactive wands, and encounter fantastic beasts at a traveling circus," Universal said in a statement. Also, for the first time in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter--they travel across countries and time to 1990s London using the Métro-Floo.
